How TurnFit holds coaching data.

TurnFit Coaching, operated by David Turnbull in Vancouver, British Columbia, uses this app to deliver posture-first strength coaching. The privacy contact is David Turnbull, privacy@turnfit.ca.

British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act applies to clients in BC. PIPEDA applies when information crosses a provincial or national border. This page is a placeholder for counsel to finish before real client data is collected.

What we store, and why

Account details, intake answers, training logs, meal estimates you confirm, weigh-ins, measurements, messages, appointments, and optional photos or lab files. The purpose is coaching: programs, macros, and check-ins. It is not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

Who can see it

You can see your own record. Your assigned trainer can see your coaching record. David can see every client. Blood-lab files and body photos are limited to you and David unless David explicitly shares them with your trainer. There is no community feed.

Coaching estimates

Meal numbers are a coaching estimate you confirm or edit. Macro targets use a 40% protein, 30% carb, 30% fat split unless your coach edits the grams. Nothing an automated draft writes reaches you until a coach approves it, and it then appears as a message from that coach.

Where it is hosted

• Supabase (database, login, private files). Create the project in Canada Central, ca-central-1, when that region is offered.
• Vercel (the app). The closest available region to Vancouver is Portland, pdx1. Vercel does not currently offer a Canadian region, so page requests are processed in the United States. Say so to clients.
• Email, if enabled, may be sent through Resend in the United States.
• Phone push uses Apple or Google's push service.
• Zoho Sign, if you use it, stores the waiver outside this app. TurnFit only keeps a signed or not-signed status and a link.
• No AI vendor is connected. The meal estimator is a local mock. A future model must be set to zero retention and no training on client data.

Your requests

Signed-in clients can download a JSON copy of their coaching record and can ask for deletion. The owner confirms deletion. Backups may take additional time to age out. Ask privacy@turnfit.ca for an access request.
